Rodeo Roundup

Rodeo Roundup

Have you ever desired to discover an app that is as aesthetic as Pinterest, as shoppable as LTK, and as trending as TikTok? If so, I’ve found just the one for you.

My experience with Rodeo began about two months ago when a fashion-oriented content creator I follow online mentioned the platform she was currently testing. It turns out she had 100 early-access codes that allowed viewers, such as myself, the chance to assist in its testing. The app is in the early stages of growth, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for such a creative community.

The app allows anyone to publish their favorite content with shoppable links and transforms it into an aesthetic and easily shoppable format. The process begins by selecting your favorite picture and finding the links for your products online. You can then copy these links into a section with additional details, create a caption, publish, and that’s it! These links allow fellow users to browse the trending profiles and both view and shop your post in just one click.

Additionally, a creator fund has begun, allowing users to make proceeds off their links that have been shopped, which can then be redeemed to shop the app. Essentially, the more you post and the more creative your outfits become, the more likely chance you have of creating a higher fund. It’s every fashion guru’s dream come true.

The app inspires users to post more frequently with edit contests such as “Year of the Cowboy” and “Anti-Valentine,” which give them a chance to be featured in their newsletters of the week. These edits can often lead to your post trending and provide more users access to your content. These edits also stimulate creativity regarding posts you may want to formulate, keeping the content incredibly interesting. My personal “Year of the Cowboy” edit received more views than any of my content has, which piqued my interest in participating in such contests.

Now, I would also like to add that Rodeo isn’t limited to simply fashion. Lifestyle, beauty, interior, and recipes are just a few other aspects commonly viewed on the platform. Whether you specialize in design, marketing, blogging, business, or something completely different, there is a space for you. This format of content curation is incredibly unique as it brings together like-minded individuals from separate spaces and unifies them on a platform that isn’t congested with miscellaneous news and additional distractions. Rodeo is for the trailblazing, unique, and passionate individuals who desire to serve others with advice and to receive it as well. It stimulates creativity and allows anyone to become somewhat of an influencer themselves. The authenticity of individual users is truly what maintains my attention and inspires me to open the app time and time again. This is certainly a new age of commerce, blending advanced technology, graphic design, and a vast community of genuine users.

My time spent on this app has allowed it to become a little passion project of mine, subconsciously nagging me to pull out the odds and ends of my closet to create something new and exciting. While consistently being inspired by others and shopping their favorites, it simultaneously encourages new life to be brought into my closet and allows the creative mind to take over. No matter the occasion, there is always something this app has to offer, and I can’t wait for more to give it a try.
