All blog submissions must be emailed to swatchbyamda@gmail.com or the Senior Editor of the category of your article to be considered. Articles must be in an editable document (google document or word document). Any photos used must be emailed as separate jpegs or pngs and sources must be included in your document. Blog submissions are accepted throughout the year.

If you are a member of AMDA, you have the opportunity to have your work featured in SWATCH magazine! All submissions must be original content by the student and not previously published work. Stay tuned for the 2022-2023 magazine submission date!
Submission guidelines:
To submit your article, you must email it in a word or google doc format with the subject “Magazine Submission” to swatchbyamda@gmail.com by the deadline to be considered.
The article must be submitted in 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced (approximately 1-2 pages in length). The article must have your name and the title included. The article must be related to one of the following 4 categories: Fashion, Career, Lifestyle, and Beauty.
You must cite any and all sources used that are not original content. Including images is encouraged, but optional.
To submit your photographs to be featured in the magazine, you must email them in a jpeg, png, or pdf format to swatchbyamda@gmail.com with the subject “Magazine Submission” by the deadline to be considered.
You must list all people who need to be given credit, including models, photographer, creative director, stylist, etc. Please include a title for your photograph. You may submit as many photos as you like.
If you are a student looking to share your work (whether it be a finalized garment, sketches, mood boards, visual merchandising displays, class projects, etc.), we will be having a section dedicated to the variety of talent in the apparel merchandising and design programs here at Auburn!
