Lucky Girl Syndrome

Lucky Girl Syndrome

If you are a user of TikTok, I am sure within the past few weeks you have heard of  “Lucky Girl Syndrome”.

Lucky Girl Syndrome refers to the idea that if you have the mindset that you are lucky and everything works out for you, that idea will become a reality. You’re cultivating a new mindset by using the law of assumption. The law of assumption is whenever you act as though you have something or believe what you want is already in your life, because you manifested it into existence. This is an easy way of manifesting, motivating, and boosting your self-esteem.

Is it scientific? Not at all. However, there was a book written in 1952 titled The Power of Positive Thinking. This book was translated into 15 languages, it remained on the New York Times best-seller list for 186 weeks, and sold 5 million copies. The author, Norman Vincent Peele, believed everyone should understand that positive thoughts and beliefs lead to a positive reality. Positive thinking and beliefs will take you on the positive path and also help you to achieve your desired goals and success. It was written to suggest some techniques and to give examples which demonstrate that you do not need to be defeated by everyday problems. This book says that you can have peace of mind, improved health and a never ceasing flow of energy. You can be full of joy and have a satisfying life by being positive. Now, whether you're a believer in manifestation, positive thinking, or not, “lucky girl syndrome” could be a fun thing to try and who knows, you may discover that everything DOES work out for you.
