My Updated Makeup & Skincare Wishlist

My Updated Makeup & Skincare Wishlist

I swear that Sephora knows me too well. Every time I open a new email from them titled, ‘Things we know you will love’, I add something to my cart. For my first article of the year, I wanted to discuss some products (new and old) that I have added to cart/put on my wish-list!

Starting with Skincare... over the past year or so, I have tried really hard to streamline my skincare routine and stick to the same products. However, I have heard people rave about Drunk Elephant products for so long and I am about to bite the bullet. Their C-Firma Vitamin C serum has been recognized by so many influencers, beauty bloggers and friends, with all of the reviews being fantastic! Another product I would love to try are their D-Bronzi drops. These are bronzing drops that help create the perfect sun-kissed look, without the UV damage! Next is a moisturizer with an aesthetic that definitely fits the vibe check. Summer Friday’s Cloud Dew Gel Cream is not only beautiful on the outside, but its ingredients are even better. Packed with amino and hyaluronic acids, this product is guaranteed to plump your skin for the perfect added hydration. The last skincare product I really want to try is the Supergoop Glow Screen. Formulated for all skin types, this product not only has 40 SPF, but also is a clean product that will leave your skin looking fresh and youthful.

Now on to makeup! As my friend and I were watching The Bachelor last Monday, we took note of a few items we saw the girls using as they were getting ready. One palette that really caught my eye was the tartelette™ juicy Amazonian clay eyeshadow palette. I have noticed makeup brands have started being much more transparent with their product ingredients and more ethical in their ingredient choices as well. This item is formulated without all of the ‘bad stuff’, and it is a beautiful shimmery pinky-nude 20-pan palette.

Last is slightly random, a ‘bonus item’, if you will; but, I have to admit... my whole TikTok feed consists of hair videos. If you have seen any of these, you will know everyone’s favorite product is this Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil. This product is supposed to help with split ends and soothe your hair, giving you a silky finish. It is definitely on the pricier side, but you can get a mini for $25 if you want to try it out first. I think I will be doing that!
