Hannah Mains Staff Spotlight - Media Director

Meet Hannah Mains! She will be a sophomore in apparel design this upcoming school year. She is serving as Media Director for SWATCH and is the face behind all of SWATCH’s social media content. Tell us about yourself!

My name is Hannah Mains. I am from Cumming, GA and will be a sophomore in apparel design next year. I’m so excited to get back to school and get into my major classes and have more opportunity to work with SWATCH. I love writing blog articles, thrifting, and going to concerts.

What does your dream job in fashion look like?

My dream job in fashion would be working for a magazine as an editor or being a stylist. I love putting together outfits for photoshoots and events. I love expressing myself through my words and style, and think either of those jobs would be perfect for me. I also would love to start my own denim line at some point, or work in fashion PR / social media. 

What inspired you to study fashion in college & why?

I worked retail and took fashion marketing classes in high school, and ever since then I felt so inspired by the creativity and hustle that being in fashion brings. At that point I decided I wanted to turn my love for fashion into a career and decided to study fashion in college. 

What are you most excited about for SWATCH this upcoming school year?

I am really looking forward to getting SWATCH Ambassadors up and running again, and being able to work closely with them. We have a lot of ideas for getting ambassadors more involved with SWATCH and I can’t wait to get started. I also am excited to help out with producing the magazine and participating in the behind the scenes of the magazine photoshoots.
