Fenty Skin Review

Fenty Skin Review

As a Fenty Beauty fanatic, I was excited for the Launch or Rihanna’s debut skincare line Fenty Skin, which launched as a branch of Fenty Beauty. This collection keeps it simple as a three product team for every skin type. I have sensitive combination skin, so I am often cautious when it comes to finding new products to use. But bored in quarantine, I decided to give this new regime a chance. I ordered the entire set upon the first launch. After two months of only using their products on my face, this is my review of the collection.

TOTAL CLEANS'R REMOVE-IT-ALL CLEANSER $25

The first step in Fenty Skin’s three-part regime is a rich facial cleanser. My first impression of the product was it does a great job of getting the excess makeup off that was left by my makeup wipes. I’ve also used the cleaner to remove my makeup completely, and with a little extra product, I can remove it all, including waterproof makeup. It leaves my skin feeling quenched and smooth to the touch. Over time, I’ve noticed my skin looking more glowy after my skincare. One thing that worried me was the heavy cherry fragrance, because added fragrance can cause problems for sensitive skin. Luckily, Fenty Skin’s fragrances are produced naturally and are not a skin irritant.

FAT WATER PORE-REFINING TONER SERUM $28

If I could only have one product from the regime, it would be the Fat Water Toner. This toner also has dark spot and skin texture treating ingredients and over the past few months, have noticed differences in the skin texture more even skin tone. My skin visually looks healthier, which has made me confident enough to skip the foundation in my makeup routine. I would recommend this for anyone with textured skin or similar complexion issues. It also feels very good to put on after a long day. This toner lasted twice as long as any other product, which makes it even better because I haven’t had to rebuy it.

HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE MOISTURIZER BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30 SUNSCREEN $35

Last, but not least, is the moisturizer. I use this moisturizer twice daily, and along with the cleanser and toner, it makes my skin feel so smooth and silky. My favorite part of the moisturizer is that it contains SPF 30. I never leave the house without sunscreen on my face and neck. Unlike usual sunscreens, it doesn’t leave my skin oily and is the perfect base for starting my makeup without a primer. It is also oxybenzone and oxtinoxate free, making it environmentally friendly. The refill cartridges are also available, so you can save $5 when rebuying the moisturizer.

I would recommend Fenty Skin for anyone looking for a super straightforward skincare routine with real results, especially if you have trouble with skin texture. I have finally found a regime I can stick to. It is $75 for the full-size starter kit as opposed to the $88 for ordering each product separately. There is also a mini starter kit for $40 if you’re interested in trying out the products before committing. All the products and more are available on the website via the link below.
