Autumn Trends You’ll Want in Your Wardrobe
Autumn officially began Wednesday and so did all fall transition looks you’ve been dying to wear. Here are some upcoming trends that will get you in your fall feels.
Vests, Vests, and More Vests
Vests made their grand reappearance last year. But this time the classic sweater vest brought all her siblings. This year, knit vests, denim vests, suit vests, and even puffer vests will be all the craze. So whatever style matches you’re looking. There definitely a vest out there for you. And considering how hot a fall in the south can be for those of us at Auburn, I think we should all be thankful for the return of the vest.
Bold Prints. Especially Tights
Brands like Emilio Pucci and Lazy Oaf have made it know that bold funky tights will be all the rave this season. Many of their designs feature bold colors, swirls, and very mod designs. Tights are a super inexpensive way to spruce up a plain look. And when the weather gets nippy, they’re the perfect duo for a dress or skinny. But, if tights arent exactly your thing, fun patterned pants will also make the perfect statement this fall!
Funky Boots and Booties
I for one believe boots dont deserve to be reserved for two seasons out of the year. Cowboy boots, gogo boots, Booties, and more are making their return in bold colors with the most interesting heels. The perfect pair of boots can completely transform boots, and brands like Jeffrey Campbell and Circus by Sam Edelman are keeping me on my toes with the coolest shaped heel.
Fur and Feather Lined Everything
We saw the return of fur last year, but I looks like it’ll be making an even grander return this seasons. Furlined jackets, cardigans, and dressers are the perfect fall fashion statement. For an even bolder look, bright-colored ostrich feather is making their mark on fall fashion. My favorite part of this trend is that it’s completely DIY-able with clothes you already have!
No matter what aesthetic you’re going for this fall, these trends translate to match your look! What looks will you be shopping for this season?
