Meet Kaitlyn Reedy! She is a sophomore in apparel merchandising and serving as Senior Fashion Editor for SWATCH and as Secretary for AMDA this year. Tell us about yourself!
Hi! I’m Kaitlyn Reedy, I’m from Chelsea, Alabama and I’m majoring in apparel merchandising. I am currently the AMDA Secretary and SWATCH Fashion Editor.
What does your dream job in fashion look like?
One of my favorite things about my major is that there are a trillion things I could do with it. I haven’t pinned down exactly what I want to do but fashion directing and forecasting are two things that intrigue me.
What inspired you to study fashion in college & why?
As cliche as it sounds, I have always been intrigued by fashion. I was raised by an army of fashionistas and have loved to shop since I could walk. So when I found out that I could study fashion in college I instantly knew that was for me.
What are you most excited about for SWATCH this upcoming school year?
It is hard to pin down just one exciting thing about SWATCH this year! But one thing I have been super excited about is photoshoots for the next issue of SWATCH Magazine and working with all the amazing officers.
