Anna Hyde- Ambassador Spotlight

Tell us about yourself!

HEY! My name’s Anna and I am a sophomore majoring in apparel design with a minor in spanish and entrepreneurship! I’m from a suburb outside of Chicago and am a city girl at heart :) I love playing volleyball/any sort of sports with friends, thrifting, taking spontaneous trips, and sewing!

What does your dream job in fashion look like?

My dream job is to create/design my own brand! I have known this ever since I was in middle school, and since I was young I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and have my own business.

What inspired you to study fashion in college & why?

I have loved fashion and have been creating ever since I was little, and in middle school I knew I wanted to be a designer. Once I knew that studying fashion in college was an option, it was never a question for me if I wanted to do it or not. I wanted to learn how to be the best designer I could be so I could someday have my own brand and express myself through my designs! I have always had big dreams, and my parents have always been so encouraging and supportive of them!

What inspired you to get involved with SWATCH?

I wanted to get involved with SWATCH because it provides you with so many opportunities that you can add to your resume, and you can gain so much experience! SWATCH is a great resource that allows me to be creative and put my work out there, which keeps me on my toes and challenges me. There are so many cool projects and opportunities you can get involved in, and I love being a part of that.
