Your Guide to Sustainable Film

Disposable cameras have resurfaced in popularity in the last couple years. They are great for capturing life moments with friends and family. People are really drawn to the vintage feel of disposable cameras. With the popularity, however, of disposable cameras came reports that they can be damaging to the environment. Most disposable cameras can be recycled and reused. Most, however, are not disposed of properly and can make their way into landfills. There are many alternatives to disposable cameras that are better for the environment. A great option are camera apps that create photos similar to physical disposable cameras. There are many choices including free and paid apps. All generate high quality images that are sure to be ready to share!

Here are some great apps to download:

1. 1888

I have 1888 and use it all the time. The images have a unique filter on them and come out instantly. This is a great app because it is extremely easy to use.

2. Dispo

Dispo is the disposable camera app created by YouTuber David Dobrik. It has become extremely popular among young people. The app creates great images, but you do have to wait until the next morning to see them.

3. Huji Cam

Huji Cam creates great pictures but many users recommend purchasing the full version. The full version comes with different types of filters.

4. Daze Cam

The Daze Cam app is unique because you can also edit your pictures in the app. It also comes with a variety of editing effects such as light leaks, chromatic aberration, blurring, and many more.

5. KOD Cam

KOD Cam is a great simple app. It does not include any editing or post-correction. Many users say that the app, however, is not worth it because you have to pay to download the images.
