Executive Editor - Staff Spotlight
Meet Angelique Cabanero! She will be a senior in apparel merchandising this upcoming school year and is serving as Executive Editor for SWATCH and President of Apparel Merchandising and Design Association (AMDA). We are so excited to see Angelique’s ideas shine this year throughout the blog and magazine. She is highly appreciated and we are looking forward to working with her. Tell us about yourself!
My name is Angelique Cabanero and I’m majoring in apparel merchandising with a minor in business. I will be serving as this year’s Executive Editor.
What does your dream job in fashion look like?
My dream job would be to work for a luxury fashion company on their buying team, and to have the ability to travel a lot.
What inspired you to study fashion in college and why?
I’ve always known from a young age that I wanted to study fashion. The apparel merchandising major seemed like the perfect balance of creativity and business analytics for me.
What are you most excited about for SWATCH this upcoming school year?
I am so excited for the next issue of the SWATCH magazine and can’t wait to help out with the photoshoots!
