Tell us about yourself!

What's up guys my name is Evan Walker and I am an Apparel Design major, minoring in marketing, here at Auburn. I have known I wanted to be a fashion designer since I was little, I even brought my elementary sketch/design book with me to college for motivation! My hobbies are spending time with friends, thrifting, making things, and creating with my sewing machine.

What does your dream job in fashion look like?

My dream job in the fashion industry is to make clothes for my own line. However, I would love to start by designing for another company and work my way up. This has always been an easy question for me to answer because my dream has been set in stone since I was 9 years old.

What inspired you to study fashion in college & why?

I really didn't realize studying fashion in college was even an option until sophomore year in high school. You can only imagine my utter joy when I realized I didn't have to work behind a desk and could live my dream hands-on job. There was nothing else I wanted to do except write for a magazine; however that wouldn't fulfill me like apparel design would.

What inspired you to get involved with SWATCH & why?

I decided to get more involved with SWATCH because passions need fuel and I need experience. SWATCH is such a great creative outlet and encourages you to be unique and show who you are and what you love.The people I have met through SWATCH have been encouraging me and helping me grow so much, and we are just getting started.
