Fall Game Day Outfits
November is right around the corner, which means football is coming back to Auburn!
We’ve had a quiet town these past few weekends due to all of the away games. With multiple home games coming up, the season is changing, and fall trends on the rise, our wardrobes are in need of a change. Here are some great staple pieces to style game day outfits for the next few weeks.
CUTE & CASUAL
The first staple piece I have chosen are the Pistola Lennon jeans. I saw these jeans online and fell in love. They are high rise, cropped, boot cut, and come in multiple washes and styles. My favorite are these medium wash, ripped knee pair called Illusionist. The Lennon style is the perfect transition into fall and is extremely versatile.
I would pair these jeans with the Free People “No Type” top for game day. This top is rust and white leopard print, has puffed cap sleeves, and fits like a bodysuit. The fabric is thick and stretchy, so it would be perfect for a long day in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Next, I would pair this outfit with platform white sneakers, such as these Superga “Acot Linea” sneakers, or white Air Force 1s. It is so crucial to wear comfortable shoes for game day, and both of these options would be perfect for this outfit. They are also versatile and can be paired with a dress or skirt for future game days. For this outfit, I recommend accessorizing with gold jewelry and a cute belt.
STATEMENT SCARF
For a more dressed up look, I would choose this Superdown mini skirt. Bonus- it’s on major sale right now! This skirt is very easy to dress up or dress down and would be so cute for an Auburn game day. I would pair this skirt with a cropped white turtleneck sweater. The sweater top balances out the skirt for a mild fall game day.
To accessorize, I picked this adorable leopard print scarf to lay over the turtleneck and tie. Lastly, I would pair this outfit with short black boots. My favorite are the short Frye Vicky Engineer boots, which are on sale right now at Nordstrom Rack. They are very comfortable for a full day of walking and go with everything! A definite staple in my closet.
THE SWEATER DRESS
Last but not least, for a colder game day I chose this sweater dress. Sweater dresses are my favorite fall staple. They are so comfortable, effortless, and easy to accessorize. This one is from Free People and comes in many colors. I love how they styled it with a thin belt, and I would definitely do the same.
On a cooler day, I would pair this tunic with a jean jacket, like this adorable one from Pistola. The stars add an extra touch to the outfit and can be worn so many different ways. For shoes, over the knee boots would be go perfectly. I recommend a flat pair, like these, for game day to make sure your feet don’t hurt.
